Many thanks to Kris Woodson and the Orange County Downtown Library for a repeat invitation to demonstrate the art of springroll making.

We had a great turn out of close to 60 participants enjoying themselves making their very first springroll. It was great fun for me to teach and share the Vietnamese culture to the community. The participants were well diverse from different culture to different level of expertise in cooking ethnic food.

Happy Belated July 4th and have a blast (literally) celebrating America's Independence Day!

My husband loves fireworks. He had a blast shooting off fireworks on the night of July 4th and yes while it was raining (kinda). My kids and their friends ran around the yard with their little sparklers having a great time.

As for me, entertaining my guests with yummy Chinesese barbecue ribs, Thai baked chicken, and Bo's burgers is my blast of fun. You can find some of the recipes in my Vietnamese cookbook. Drats, forgot to take some delicious pictures to share with everyone.

In two weeks, I will have yet another fun-filled and hands on experience with creating spring rolls / summer rolls.
