Thaleia arrived 3:12am on 27 March 2003 at UCLA Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA.
She was 2 weeks early - expected due date was April 15, 2003.
Thaleia weighed 7lbs 7.4 oz, 20 inches long and is a very healthy baby girl.
Ha's first child was delivered c-section so her doctor reccommended
a c-section for her second child. She reluctantly scheduled a c-section because she did not know
any doctors who would deliver her baby naturally.
During her eighth month pregnancy, Ha participated in a Landmark Forum. It was a three intensive days of education in transformation. She met a wonderful woman who works at a birthplace. Ha was referred to several doctors who support natural birth after previous c-section. Four weeks before her delivery date,
Ha took on a quest. She did not rest until she found a doctor who will deliver her baby naturally.
Two weeks before the due date, a bouncing baby girl was welcomed to the Roda's household.
Ha was in labor for two and half hours. At 3:12am March 27, 2003,
Thaleia was born naturally with no aid of any drugs. It was quite
an experience. It was an experience that Ha did not mind go through again.
