A Beebee Blanket is comprised of two removable weighted pouches and two sheets of breathable material. The pouches are secured in the pockets of the top sheet. Traditionally in Vietnam, weighted pouches are filled with de-shelled mung beans. However, the pouches in the Beebee Blanket are filled with polypropylene pellets and polyester fiberfill for a softer and more pleasing sensation.
The bottom sheet is primarily composed of cotton fabric whereas the top sheet is composed of cotton and spandex mesh. This mesh is used for several purposes. The stretchiness of the blanket conforms to the infant's shape and size. There is plethora of holes in the mesh fabric. This provides Mom peace of mind. She can rest assure that there is less of a chance for child suffocation. Last but not least, it looks great and sporty. The top and bottom sheets are stitched together at one end while the other end is fastened together by adhesive patches. The bottom sheet is placed underneath as the top sheet is placed on top of the infant. The fasteners attach the open ends of the sheets. This secures the blanket to the child and prevents the blanket from being pushed over the child's face. |
